MBD in 2024: Our Year in Designs

The Biltmore Vista Project

What a year! In 2024, we worked on remodels, finalized new build projects, met new clients, and so much more. Here's a look back at the highlights of an exciting year:

Projects That Defined 2024

This year, we continued pushing creative boundaries while maintaining a signature style that’s refined and approachable. Some of our standout projects include:

  • The Biltmore Vista Project – This home remodel turned a property with incredible views and great potential into the perfect desert getaway for our clients. After removing a wall in the center of the main level, natural light fills the living room and kitchen. We gave the owners their dream kitchen with high-end appliances, built-in storage systems, and tons of counter space for cooking and entertaining.
  • The Elevated Escape Project – This North Phoenix new build was all about creating our client's dream home. A color-drenched study and a chef's kitchen complete this home. We used lots of color and the client's favorite artwork to give her home a fun and inviting feel.
  • The Tuscan Bones Project – This Scottsdale renovation has been all about taking the Tuscan architecture of the property and transforming it into a Modern Spanish family home. This home had some traditionally Tuscan elements that we used to inspire the new design: arches, columns, brick, and domed ceilings. Combining some of these architectural features with more updated colors, fixtures, accessories, and cabinetry resulted in the clients' dream family home.

We also took on the Neutral Nest project for a couple looking to furnish and decorate their new home. We styled a home office with pieces from our client's sports memorabilia collection and accessories that we chose to complement the space. We sourced furnishings that had neutral tones to give the clients their dream empty nesters' home.

We finished a new build in Paradise Valley, AZ, called the Desert Mountain Oasis Project. This project featured a grand primary suite, incredible outdoor spaces, a wine cellar, and a game room.

This year, we really leaned into the construction side of interior design projects since our clients often ask us if we can take care of every aspect of the project. In 2025, we are looking forward to getting involved in even more construction.

Looking Ahead

As 2024 draws to a close, MBD is looking forward to an even more exciting 2025. Over the last month, we've been meeting with and onboarding new clients for the new year. Our Sedona Sanctuary and Jewel Box projects are in the beginning phases, and we are eager to share their progress with you.
