A little about us...
The Kitchen Before

Our transformation began by raising the roof—taking the 7-foot ceilings to 10 feet. This immediately gave the room an airier, more spacious feel. We also prioritized bringing in as much natural light as possible. Skylights, oversized windows, and a stunning 12-foot stackable sliding door flood the space with light. The result? A kitchen that feels bright, open, and inviting.

We didn’t stop there. The goal was to create one great room where you could cook and entertain simultaneously. By opening the kitchen to the rest of the living area, we allowed for seamless flow between the two spaces. Now, from the moment you walk through the large glass door at the entry, your eye is drawn all the way through to the green grass of the backyard—visible from the front door.

A key feature of this kitchen redesign is the modern barn door we installed for the pantry, painted in a bold black to add a pop of color. In fact, these striking black doors and casings were carried throughout the entire home, creating a cohesive design language that runs from room to room.

For the kitchen itself, we wanted to ensure it would be a space for entertaining. The 10-foot island became the heart of the room, offering plenty of seating and prep space for hosting gatherings. We highlighted the range wall with custom white rift oak cabinetry. Instead of opting for traditional pendant lights, we let the stunning chandelier above the island take center stage. Arm sconces on the range wall add visual interest while allowing the chandelier to truly shine.

One of the unexpected delights of this project was discovering the incredible view of Camelback Mountain, including the iconic Praying Monk when we climbed up on the rooftop. This led to adding a rooftop deck for those beautiful Arizona views. To expand the home’s functionality, we added 1,000 square feet to include more bedrooms, a laundry room, and a flex zone for extra versatility.

Living in Arizona, we knew an outdoor dining space would be essential, so we designed a covered patio accessible from the great room and the primary bedroom. This patio created the perfect spot for dining al fresco and enjoying Arizona’s beautiful weather.

This transformation was all about creating an inviting space where you can cook, entertain, and relax—indoors and out. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results, and we know this home will be the perfect place for our clients to make lasting memories.
