The Biltmore Vista Remodel

We believe that thoughtful, well-executed design can transform a home’s entire atmosphere. Our most recent remodel, The Biltmore Vista Remodel, is a testament to this philosophy. Located in a beautiful Paradise Valley, AZ community, we gave this home a complete main-floor transformation. By rethinking the layout, opening up the space, and maximizing natural light, we created a home that is not only more functional but also more inviting.

Opening Up the Space for Light and Flow

When we first assessed the home, we saw a wonderful space with potential, but the main floor felt closed off and compartmentalized due to the walls surrounding the staircase. These walls created physical and visual barriers that blocked natural light from flowing freely, leaving parts of the main floor feeling darker and more isolated than we wanted for our clients.

To solve this, Meg made a bold move: she decided to remove the walls surrounding the staircase and replace them with an open railing, a design choice that immediately transformed the space. By removing these barriers, we allowed natural light to permeate every corner of the main floor, creating a bright, airy environment that feels cohesive and connected. Now, the light from surrounding windows reaches throughout the space, bringing warmth and energy to every room.

A Spacious, Entertainer’s Dream Kitchen

For our clients, the kitchen is the heart of the home—a place to gather, cook, and entertain. The existing kitchen was functional but limited in size, and it lacked the flow and space needed to comfortably host family and friends. To give our clients the kitchen they dreamed of, we expanded it, prioritizing both style and functionality.

Our designers created a spacious, open kitchen with ample counter space and storage. By incorporating an island with seating, we added a welcoming spot for casual gatherings, whether for morning coffee, meal prep, or evening cocktails. The open design allows for effortless movement between the kitchen, dining, and living areas, making it ideal for hosting larger gatherings and creating a true entertainer’s dream.

Bringing Style and Function Together

The new railing around the staircase adds a modern touch that complements the rest of the home’s design while maintaining safety and functionality. We chose a sleek, minimalistic railing design that enhances the open feel without distracting from the overall look.

In the kitchen, we integrated high-quality materials and finishes that feel both timeless and luxurious. Black cabinetry and natural textures bring a sense of calm, while the luxury lighting fixtures highlight the kitchen’s key features and add a warm, welcoming glow. The storage solutions keep essentials within easy reach while maintaining a clean, streamlined look.
